Types of Computer Graphics in Hindi | Interactive and Passive Graphics in Computer Graphics:


  • Both these types of computer graphics are used based on their purpose and need. 
  • Interactive graphics are useful in fields where active user participation is necessary, while passive graphics are suitable for providing static and clear information. 
  • In current times, due to technological advancements, the importance of both types of graphics is increasing.
  • In the field of computer graphics, interactive and passive graphics are two major types of graphics, 
  • which are classified based on their use and purpose. Both are used in various fields. Detailed information about them is given below:

1. Interactive Graphics: Interactive graphics refers to those graphics that have the ability to interact with the user. Its main objective is to actively engage the user with a graphical system.

Features:

  • User Input: Input is taken from the user through a device (like a mouse, keyboard, touchscreen).
  • Real-time Response: The graphics respond immediately according to the user's input.
  • Dynamic Nature: Interactive graphics are always variable and dynamic.

Example:

  • Video Games
  • Design Software (like AutoCAD)
  • Flight Simulators
  • Online Drawing Applications
  • Work Process: In interactive graphics, the user provides input, which the computer processes and displays the output on a graphical display. This process happens in real-time.
Advantages:

  • Involves active user participation.
  • Presents complex data in a simple and understandable way.
  • Used in various applications, such as education, entertainment, and business.
Limitations:

  • Requires more hardware and software resources.
  • Increases system complexity.

2. Passive Graphics: Passive graphics are those graphics that are displayed in a static form without user input. They are designed only for viewing and understanding.

Features:

  • No Input: No input of any kind is taken from the user.
  • Stability: The graphics are static and do not change over time.
Example:

  • Poster and Banner Designs
  • Television and Film Animation
  • Charts and Graphs (as in PowerPoint presentations)
Work Process: In passive graphics, the graphics are prepared in advance and are used only for presentation.

Advantages:

  • Simple and easy to use.
  • Requires fewer hardware resources.
  • Durability and long-term use.
Limitations:

  • There is no interaction with the user.
  • Unsuitable for complex tasks.
